The Ugandan government contracted Summa International Construction Company, a Turkish firm, to deliver the project. Construction began in September 2024 and is scheduled for completion by December 2025 — well ahead of AFCON 2027. Valued at USD 129 million (UGX 484 billion), the project employs over 1,000 workers, 80% of whom are Ugandan.
